Raw materials characteristics for BRONTO Extruders
It is important to take into account that increase of raw material humidity to 1% makes the process temperature below 10ºС and in case when it is impossible to reach the adjusted temperature, it’s necessary to check the raw material humidity.
Raw material optimum moisture content:
- corn 14,3…15,3%
- wheat 14,7…15,7%
- barley 14,5…15,5%
- peas 15,5…16,5%
- soybean 10,0…12,0%
NOTE. At the mentioned raw material humidity water is not used during the process of extrusion.
